SETTING SOLID STATE CONTROL
This unit has solid-state controls that regulates the temperature of the
refrigeration system. After the unit is wired to the proper voltage the temperature
and high temperature alarm can be set.
Setting the Temperature
Press and hold the black button #7 as you turn the set point screw. The
temperature shown on the discharge temperature display will indicate the
temperature set point as you turn the set point screw.
Setting the High Temperature Alarm
To set the high temperature alarm, press and hold the black button #8 as you
turn the set point screw. The discharge temperature display will indicate the set
temperature for the high temperature alarm as you turn the set point screws. We
suggest you keep a 5-degree differential between the temperature set points and
the alarm point.
Turning off the Alarm
Press button #9 to turn the alarm off.
CHECKING TEMPERATURE SET POINTS
To check the temperature set points, just press #7 for the compressor set point
and #8 for the alarm set point.
CAUTION
This panel is designed for indoor use only. Approved outdoor panel covers are
available from the factory. Please contact the parts department at Schreiber
Engineering.
LOW LEVEL WARNING LIGHT
There is a float switch mounted in the reservoir tank. When the water in this reservoi
r
reaches a low level, the float switch closes causing the light on the enclosure cover to
come on. In order to correct this condition, you must fill the reservoir to its proper level.
